Distance education or distance learning is the education of students who may not always be physically present at a study center. Traditionally, this usually involved correspondence courses wherein the student corresponded with the study center via post. A distance learning program can be completely distance learning, or a combination of distance learning and traditional classroom instruction.

BL Correspondence college is existing for 8 years which recognized & authorized by Kuvempu University and the Study center is located at the center of the city smart city Davangere. Currently, the study center will provide more than 12 distance courses. the study center has output 4000+ distance candidates.
